Project Description:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design a museum exhibit. Develop a series of exhibit panels illustrating climate, community, and sustainability. Collect statistical data and enhance audience engagement through several integrated QR codes.
Overview:
Southeast Georgia and Wexford, Ireland share unique historical and contemporary connections. These connections are evident in shared environmental factors that contribute to similar climates and in historical social ties that fostered trade and emigration relationships.
Over the past 125 years, both regions have experienced climatic events that have significantly shaped their social, economic, political, and environmental contexts. As extreme weather events become more frequent, this exhibit explores how these communities have experienced climate change and adapted over time.
